KAREN: My art is driven by my passion to learn motion design. I’m constantly trying to explore the world around me and pull on lived experiences from music to travel. In this case, “Lucky” was inspired by my childhood! Not only does the character 福 fú mean good fortune but symbolizes how I felt growing up in this weird age of the early 2000s. 

Besides there being grass in my artwork — humans weren’t meant to be chronically online! The best ideas and experiences come from stepping outside your comfort zone and logging off.
